Hotel Alpenblick in GrindelwaldThe Hotel Alpenblick, located in Grindelwald, probably the most beautiful valley in the world, is worth a visit both in summer and winter. The Alpenblick stands for inexpensive accommodation, cozy Aperitif or a drink after dinner at the bar, and tasty inexpensive food in the restaurant. All this with an uncomplicated service - feeling good included. The Hotel Alpenblick is located at the end of the village of Grindelwald. It is not remote and lives up to its name. The village centre is a 10-minute walk from Alpenblick. In summer you can enjoy the wonderful landscape from above with a paraglider. Hiking, Keltterning, or an excursion to the Jungfraujoch, you can see the mountains from a new angle again and again. You can also enjoy biking, with an e-bike or normal mountain bike, on various trails. The bus stop is right in front of the door, so you can easily reach any mountain railway. On the beautiful terrace with "alpine views" you can relax from your experiences in the mountains or enjoy the view of the Eiger and the rest of the impressive mountains. In winter Grindelwald is one of the largest ski resorts in Switzerland with 3 ski areas. For snowboarders and skiers there are countless kilometres of perfectly groomed pistes. The Eiger village offers the longest toboggan run in Europe. If you prefer it a little quieter, you can explore nature on a winter hike or snow shoe run. Ice hockey, skating and curling are also very popular in the mountain village. The ski run from the Grindelwald-First ski area directly in front of the Hotel Alpenblick. With the ski bus, which stops directly in front of your front door, you can reach all the valley stations of the Grindelwald ski areas comfortably without having to walk.

RoomsAccording to your wishes, we offer different room categories for staying overnight. Newer, bright comfort rooms for 2 to 6 persons. The comfort rooms are all equipped with shower, WC and TV. Simpler budget rooms for 2 to 5 persons with washing facilities, shower and toilet on the floor. For the price-conscious our tourist dormitory is suitable. Multi-bed rooms with bunk beds for up to 16 persons, divided into 2 and 4 compartments. Families, couples, trips with friends, or sports clubs or schools, all are welcome.

In our modern yet traditional restaurant we offer you a menu of the day, traditional Swiss dishes and seasonal delicacies. The restaurant is only open in the evening. After dinner, treat yourself to a drink at the bar, or enjoy it at the table with an overview of what's happening at the bar. We serve food from 17h30 – 21h00 Sundays and Mondays the restaurant and the bar remain closed.

The BarThe bar for connoisseurs, billiard table, dart and pinball machine for players and a fumoir for smokers. The trendy and yet traditional bar invites you to enjoy a cosy Aperitif or a drink after dinner. For the hungry we offer various hot and cold snacks. We offer a daily happy hour from 17h30 – 18h30. You pay one drink per person and you will get two! (Available on Wine, Beer, Softdrinks, Coffee and tea) Happy hour … makes you happy!
