Located at the edge of the village, Hotel Alpenblick enjoys a peaceful setting with breath-taking views, truly living up to its name. (Alpenblick means “view of the Alps”)
The lively centre of Grindelwald is just a 10-minute walk away.

In summer, discover the mountains from all angles: paragliding, hiking, climbing, biking, or an unforgettable excursion to the Jungfraujoch. Numerous trails offer action and adventure – whether you are on an e-bike or a classic mountain bike.

The bus stop right outside our door takes you directly to all the valley’s cable cars, bringing you straight into the adventure. After an active day, unwind on our sun terrace and take in the magnificent views of the Eiger and surrounding peaks.

In winter, Grindelwald is part of one of the largest ski regions in Switzerland, with three ski areas to explore. Whether you are skiing, snowboarding, or sledding – there is something for everyone. The longest sledding run in Europe ends right in the Eiger village. If you prefer peace and quiet, enjoy the snow-covered landscape with winter hiking or snowshoeing.

The valley run from the Grindelwald-First ski area ends right at our doorstep – it does not get any better than that! And with the ski bus stopping right in front of the hotel, you will reach all valley stations easily and stress-free.

We offer a variety of room categories to suit every budget and need.

Our modern, bright comfort rooms accommodate 2 to 6 people and are equipped with a shower, toilet, and TV – perfect for a relaxing stay.

For budget-conscious guests, our budget rooms for 2 to 5 people feature a sink in the room. Showers and toilets are located on the same floor and shared with other guests.

Ideal for small budgets: our dormitory with bunk beds offers space for up to 16 people, divided into cozy 2-bed and 4-bed sections.

 Whether you are travelling alone, with your family, as a couple, as agroup of friends, as a sports club, or as aschool class – everyone is warmly welcome here!

In our modern yet traditional restaurant, we serve a daily changing evening menu, classic Swiss dishes, and seasonal specialties. Our restaurant is only open for dinner.

Our bar is a place for true connoisseurs. Whether you're enjoying a game at the billiard table, sipping a drink at the counter or relaxing in the cozy smoking lounge,  – everyone is welcome. A trendy yet traditional setting, perfect for an apéritif or a nightcap after dinner.

You can really enjoy the Grindelwald mountains on the sunny terrace of the Hotel Alpenblick. On warm summer days you can have breakfast on our terrace. Enjoy the sunset at dinner, profit from the weather in the afternoon, what could be better? Our sun terrace offers a clear view of the Wetterhorn, the Mettenberg, the Fiescherwand and the world-famous Eiger.

Whether in summer or winter you can enjoy a clear view from Wetterhorn, Mettenberg, Fiescherlücke to Eiger. Many people were speechless when they first saw the view from the Hotel Alpenblick. A photomontage could not be more beautiful. In winter, seeing the freshly snowed-in peaks at sunset is indescribably beautiful.

In summer, the contrasts of the lush green meadows, the grey rock faces with the white mountain peaks are beautiful. With a little luck you can watch avalanches thundering from the high peaks into the valley. Don't worry, you are out of danger. Many people are also fascinated by the many parasols that can be observed from the terrace. Grindelwald offers many possibilities to enjoy the mountains. From the air with a paraglider tandem flight, from above on a mountain peak with a mountain guide, by bike or on foot.
